WTF? - Barack Obama Awarded Nobel Peace Prize...!!!

Barack Obama has sent more troops into Afghanistan. Does the Nobel Committee think that dying because someone shot you with a conventional weapon is less tragic or more 'peaceful' than dying because of exposure to radiation?

Obama has sent more troops into Afghanistan. Does the Nobel Committee think that dying because someone shot you with a conventional weapon is less tragic or more 'peaceful' than dying because of exposure to radiation?
Where was Barack Obama when Israel was bombing the crap out of Gaza? He was the President Elect during part of it and was full President towards the end of it. He could have spoken out and levied sanctions on Israeli goods, but he didn't. He also didn't speak out against the American produced white phosphorous that Israeli helicopters were dropping on innocent men, women and children in Gaza - burning flesh from their limbs like a modern day napalm. Amnesty International and all of their activists, myself included, were very agitated and vocal about this.
Oh yeah, and lets not forget his back-peddling on dragging Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld up on war crimes charges over the torture of illegally held detainees.
I've done more for peace than Obama. We all have...!!!

The Nobel Committee said he was awarded it for "his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and co-operation between peoples".
The committee highlighted Mr Obama's efforts to support international bodies and promote nuclear disarmament.
There were a record 205 nominations for this year's prize. Zimbabwe's prime minister and a Chinese dissident had been among the favourites.
The laureate - chosen by a five-member committee - wins a gold medal, a diploma and 10m Swedish kronor ($1.4m).
