"I find purer philosophy in a poem than in a
conclusion of geometry, a chemical analysis,
or a physical law."

"first they came for the communists, and I didn’t speak up,
because I wasn’t a communist.
then they came for the jews, and I didn’t speak up,
because I wasn’t a jew.
then they came for the catholics, and I didn’t speak up,
because I was a protestant.
then they came for me, and by that time
there was no one left to speak up for me."

          Rev. Martin Niemoller, 1945.

People should not be afraid of their government, the government should be afraid of it's people.

Dunno who wrote it, but given the current power grabs by both the UK and US government recently, it somehow seemed fitting.

Oh, and V for Vendetta is a brilliant film.
