in the hum
an unending babble
of drivel spews into my room
and i sit there, terrified to go out
gun crime statistics
aimed at my head go off
the bang a backdrop
the very rhythm of my life
i respond as always
by eating more junk food
inching ever closer
to death by natural causes
humming a tune from my youth

I'm looking for a graphic artist to roughly sketch a few images for this poem. Then I intend to have them edited to short animation.
I'm looking for drawings of someone sitting in a chair in front of a television which is flooding the immediate area with light, with a few squiggly lines depicting sound coming from its speakers. The person is eating junk food, probably pizza. This person is overweight. This character should have tired/worried looking eyes but also a cracked smile. From their lips a few musical notes should be rising to wherever the ceiling is.
Remember these should be sketches & not full-on masterpieces. Upstate Renegade Productions cannot pay for this input to the project but we will display all artist's names in the end credits + provide links to their websites or YouTube channels on all blurbs written for the final production.
