Message for PrairieDancer :)

Post by Louis P. Burns aka Lugh »

Hi PrairieDancer,

I just noted that you are not logging into Sensitize fully. What this means that no posts by you are registering on your profile. If you click here you will see what I mean.

By logging in fully you will then be able to scroll back through all posts you make and keep track of threads that you have participated on or that are ongoing. It is also pretty neat because it means you can have lists of work by you that you can link other members to :) ...

It's an easy mistake to make and a few of us have made it (including me lol). Can you please sign into Sensitize fully with your password and if possible click the 'remember me' option that may appear on your screen. Honestly, it is for your own benefit and helps the whole Sensitize experience to be an even more pleasant one.

Thanks and best wishes :) ...

Hi Lugh, I knew I didn't get it right because it registered my reply as "guest," and I still don't know what I did wrong. I think I've got it right now, but please be patient with me...I'll find my way around and get down to business soon enough. I've got to do something about sound 'cause I know I'm missing a lot.

Lugh, the logging in facility is a bit glitchy on this site. I usually leave myself logged in, but obviously after a regular clearing out of cookies I have to re-do it, at which point I often have to log in at least twice before it notices me properly, despite telling me I'm logged in the first time.

So PD, if it all seems a bit confusing, it's because it's... a bit confusing. The system's fault, not yours, in other words.

Sometimes I have to log in twice before it recognises me.

Hi all. I believe it's a security feature. It happens to me too. I login then a window exactly the same appears and I see I am not logged in yet. When I go through the same procedure I don't have to type my entire login name or password again. It already has it in memory. Is that what you are all getting as well?

Pretty much yup, not seen it in a while - not since I last blew out all of my cookies (which reminds me I should probably do so again at some point soon). :)
