I think I get the point of it all now. In Japanese most things are 1 or 2 letter syllables, making it bloody hard to do the ole 5 7 5 thing, when they have such long words.
I can see the point in writing it in japanese, coz its hard and sort of like a puzzle. I still can't see the point in English (sorry).
Put that in yer pipe and smoke it Mr Lugh, unless you can do better?
Jo chats a lot here.
once? twice? light came as she wrote.
light spread through us all...
Jo, I write these because I find them fun to do, that's all. Bit like someone else doing a crossword or knitting...
I'm not into conforming unless there's a point to it in my creative work. I don't see any point in someone from the West, attempting the Japanese style and choose to believe that this is an evolving form ...

can't hear nuffin' mate!
still dj's in ibiza!
deaf, but he feels bass!
While writing this piece I had an image of two Cockney or London accented men standing by a sub-woofer speaker which is pumping out very loud dance or Rave music in an Ibiza nightclub. One is explaining (shouting) to the other about what happened to Frankie Wilde, the DJ who became deaf at the height of his career on the Ibiza holiday circuit. Great movie by the way folks. Very touching and holding a postive message for disabled people everywhere.

These are great, Lugh. I must write a few... haven't for weeks now. (Rummages through newspaper for inspiration.)
Right, here's one about the new rules for postage that just came in today.
Fold A4 to fit
C5. Fit four in that way.

Dave, do you want me to set up a folder for your work mate? Take a look on the New Media Poetry section of Sensitize for examples. It would really cool if you had your own collection on here too...
