Earthquake hits Dumfies and Galloway

Post by spacecadet »

News just in....

Dumfries hit by Earthquake.

Experts rushed to the scene to estimate the damage announced that "it's difficult to tell what is the devestation caused by the earthquake and what is just Dumfries. Let's face it, you could drop a bomb on this place without essentially changing it."

On the political side, noone in power bothered turning up to Dumfries to get their face in the paper. Not even Boris Johnson.

This bit made me laugh my head off Dave:-
Retired teacher Meg Edgar wrote: "I really thought somebody was trying to break in through the roof.

"My immediate thought was that it can't be Father Christmas because it is a day too late, but it was really frightening."
Has no-one told her about Santa yet  ..?
