Just a quick update.
Chapter 21 has begun, I'm about 4 pages into it. With luck I'll have it finished and edited by tuesday, and on the web same day.
I've taken a bit of a departure from my usual line in this chapter, I'm not sure if it'll be liked by all, but I think it'll be interesting none the less.
Oh and we'll be introduced to a new charactor (always a good thing from what I've seen)

Good news everybody!
I completed Chapter 21.
Unfortunately, earlier today I was pratting about with the website, and it appears that I broke the ftp linkage into the site...
So whilst I've got it sat here (still smouldering, its that hot off the press) I can't put it up, I've contacted Extropia (the guys who built the site and host it) and hopefully sometime tomorrow it'll be fixed and anyone who's actually reading legacy will get their fix

Tbh I've been hit so hard with writers block I ended up looking to a couple of close friends to give me some desperately needed inspiration on how to continue.
So when I finally managed to get myself into the correct frame of mind, I grabbed the oportunity with both hands...
So far Music got me this far, but this last chapter was a real pita to get down, however, I'm hoping that I'll be able to move on now that I've got a newer perspective to work with.

Its a git when that happens, I know from my own work, I know that's not the same as you creative people. Music can't inspire me in the stuff I write about, unfortunately, wish it could.the_leander wrote:Tbh I've been hit so hard with writers block I ended up looking to a couple of close friends to give me some desperately needed inspiration on how to continue.

Still Rome wasn't built in a day. Looking forward to reading it.

I've just read chapter 21, well and 19, 20 again. I forgot about the new character, thought I was going mad. Stress must be making me forgetfull, I'm normally like an elephant, mores the pity.
Excellent leander, glad to see that you have your captivating writing skills and imagination back.
I enjoyed it, looking forward to seeing how it's going to develop.

I'm so sorry to find that you are getting divorced. Hope it goes through quick and as painless as possible with happier days waiting around the corner for you.the_leander wrote:I put down the first two pages of Chapter 22 last night after some head scratching...
Divorce doesn't half kill ones desire to write...
Oh well, onwards and upwards.
With a little luck and a lot of caffiene I should have the rest of it down next week, and probably up on the site at the weekend.
Looking forward to reading chapter 22.

Chapter 22 has been on the back burner a bit the past week (hence no update), I just can't quite get my head around finishing it off.
However...
I did in the mean time dust off another story that I intend to put into the Sensitize magazine, it like legacy will be in series format.
Atm the story is simply called "Project 5", its a sci fi story that I worked on about 5 years ago, I've just finished the full introduction and am part way through chapter 1.
I hope when it gets released you'll like it

Mmmm, sci-fi, that'll be interesting. I was brought up watching science fiction on TV, some crap (it was the 70's and 80's) but some really good.the_leander wrote:Well, everything now is in place, its just waiting on the court date so the decree absolute comes through, should be no more then three months.jo wrote:

It was science fiction that first introduced me to electromagnetic propultion. http://science.howstuffworks.com/electr ... ulsion.htm
TBH I don't like all science fiction.

Meh, don't worry about it, I just hope you can forgive the heinous amount of typos and other assorted gaffs which are still present in the current online draft, once its finished I'll go back over it and clean it up, but for now all I want to do is just get it out of my headdelph_ambi wrote:It's about time I started reading 'Legacy'. So I will. Today.
Sorry it's taken me so long.
