I'm all for natural medication (some are far more effective) rather than chemicals.
How often do GP's prescribe Marmite to reduce the risk of getting malaria.

Feck. I must be a mosquito![]()
All joking aside. Nature is the greatest source of healing I know of too. There's marijuana for instance. Just check out our film; Healing Herbs.
Here's one for you although it's not strictly medical. Pestered by flies but hate using flysprays? Place the herb:- rosemary all around your home, on shelves, worktops, window sills etc... It seems to work as a deterrent to flies and wasps and they sod off out the nearest exit... Apparently it badly affects their eyes. Basil, cloves, mint or orange peel also work. Makes your home smell nice too
Ahhh, men eh. Getting a spring clean once a month, I would love to find some-one that would do my housework to the same standard as me.Lugh wrote:That's a great idea for scenting the place. I'll definitely get loads of rosemary and microwave it mate. Nice one...
Oven cleaning (AGGGGGH...!!!). I hate that job. I pay a pal of mine (Eileen) to do it and the whole flat gets blitzed once a month...
Jo. Have you considered writing to Dear Aunt Sensi with house-keeping questions? I hear she's absolutely diabolical but funny in her replies...
I wouldn't take the risk of larium!Lugh wrote:Newsnight tonight on BBC2 did a big item on these homeopathic remedies and they were quite scathing![]()

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Never, ever, go on holidays without an Uzi. Mosquitoes are terrified of machine guns...spacecadet wrote:I read a report last week by the BMA that said there was a big increase in malaria because people were using various herbal remedies nowdays instead of the prescription drugs. Makes you think.
Aye, and if you're schmokin' continental cigarettes (a hobby of mine), it makes a lovely sound in hotel foyers when you don't want to pay any bills.spacecadet wrote:The MP5 takes up less luggage space, but I suppose the Uzi's hand to hand loading action is very useful when you're drunk. Good chioce Lugh.

He had it coming. What sort of name is '0500 BST'..?BBC NEWS wrote:Local residents said up to 35 nationalist youths armed with bricks and golf clubs attacked vehicles and shouted abuse at 0500 BST.
Typical Northern Irish politician..! More concerned with problems facing people living in the safety of the English Home Counties. She should focus more on Ireland.BBC NEWS wrote:DUP assembly member Diane Dodds said people in the area were being victimised.
"There is a constant campaign of sectarian hatred carried out against the community in Suffolk," she said.
Odd. Neither can Ispacecadet wrote:I saw the brick, read the word "Bushmills" and immediately thought of yourself. Can't think why....
